Michel François presents his Odyssey of absurd
and often poignant tales with a liberation of imagery
from voices within on a splintered trail through
ruminating rhymes.
He illustrates without barriers, often provoking,
the absurdness of thought, game-play of unrelated
ideas and images in both French and English.
Michel François writes in both French and English
which, in the realm of creative work is not usual –
this phenomenon is compounded with the activity to
self translate.
‘it is the only way’ Michel François claims ‘to remain faithful to
the theme and essence of the poems at the same time affording liberty to
embellish and enrich the work at will!’
Imagine the witnessing of the birth of the ‘inexpressible’,
The ‘unutterable’ or, ‘indescribable’, all in the shape
of a poem!
‘Fingers grope for tangible delights
thwarts revival’s attempt to find the unknown’s parallel of the intangible ’
